Womb Yoga classes are an invitation to come home to yourself.
I create a space for busy women of all ages to come together and enjoy flowing yoga with emphasis on mindful attention to the breath.
This helps bring balance and harmony to your weekly routine. We honour the natural cycles of a woman’s womb life – monthly menstrual cycles, pregnancy, lactation, menopause – and you are encouraged to work with, rather than against, the natural ebb and flow of your energy.
The class runs in 6 week blocks and week 5 is usually a Yin Yoga class, a meditative form of yoga, holding poses for up to five minutes. In all classes there is time for breathing practices and deep relaxation. Many women come to this class as a natural follow-on from pregnancy and baby classes, though all including beginners are welcome.
